Glenn Hughes Having started his career when his band of fellow midlands musicians Trapeze who were signed to the Moody Blues label in 1969, Hughes then went on replace Roger Glover in Deep Purple. As well as being a fine bass player, Hughes is rightly regarded as having one of the finest voices rock music has ever heard. Following a period of uncertainty throughout the late seventies and early eighties his solo career has gone from strength to strength. He has also worked alongside some fine guitarists, including Gary Moore and Tony Iommi, as well as being heavily in demand as a session musician. He has also worked alongside former Rainbow and Deep Purple vocalist Joe Lynn Turner. These releases can be found in the Joe Lynn Turner section.
